It all started because I wanted to help my Mum

My Mum developed chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) and I wanted to help. Around the same time, I started practicing yoga and it’s been with me ever since. I was 17 years old and fresh out of high school. I knew after my second yoga class that’s what I wanted to do with my life. Never looked back.

Conventional approaches towards treating CFS fell short of anything resembling relief for Mum. I was determined to find answers. Being involved with the yoga community meant I was exposed to many other healing approaches.

I formally studied health science, disability studies, developmental education, massage, aromatherapy, energy healing, ayurvedic medicine, transcendental meditation and homeopathy. As often happens, when we embark on a path we don’t know where it’s going to lead us. So thanks to Mum I have been learning and practicing yoga and other healing arts, helping people find their wellbeing and I love it.
